My Ipoh & Cameron Highlands trip...
great! so i was on the coach with Elva, Lian & Kang.... the journey from Singapore to ipoh took around 8 hours! wow......I sat with lian... & we were so excited that we did not sleep till 1am... i think so...

Day 1: Sat... Sunny day
We reached there at 5.30am... & Kang's mom was so nice to come & fetched us home.. after a short nap.. we set off to our Cameron highlands trip...! of cos we went to eat delicious "dim sum" & "Famous" soya beancurd & drink before setting off..... :)
The journey up took about 2 hours.. Elva got sick during the journey after drinking 2 packets of soya bean drink... the ride up to Cameron Highlands was great as i get to sit at the front seat to enjoy the scenery & cool wind when we let down the windscreen.... Hmm.... great!
Saw many cloud on the mountain... one photo below showed it. :p
When we got there, we experienced a little car probelm & kang had to get it fix up while we wait at the coffee shop.... Thank God, it's not a big probelm! Then its started to pour heavily... I was praying that the rain could stop soon so that we could play & visit the rose vally, strawberry park...
It did stop after we found a decent hotel! We went to a few hotels before deciding on one with double beds... at R140... so that's abt 15 Sing dollars each for us 4 persons...
In the end, they decided to laze around at the hotel room.... rather than visiting the diff. places. We had steamboat at night! But a rather xpensive one! 19 ringgat per person... not cheap compare to other places.... 'cos somehow, we went into a restaurant for dinner. ha...
Later at night, we went back to our hotel & saw so many interesting stalls outside the lane.... we went to see see & i bought some things for my sis & friends. I was looking at the beautiful flowers....so many of them! Suddenly, it started to pour again! Cute!
We were at a small corner waiting sheltering from the rain! Elva & myself couldnt stop taking photos!!! we are so crazy.. must take pics of everything! Haha... :D
Then we decided to go into a coffee shop to drink some hot stuffs under the cool cool weather! must be great! :)
Kang was great as he decided to go & take his car far away & come back to fetch us back to hotel. Later that night.... we had a good sleep at the hotel room even though its not veri nice..... haha.... :p

to be continued... day 2.

My beloved eagle friend! Someone who soars with me! Pray with me! & never gives up on me! Thank you Huimei!

We were going home after our basic driving theory test! Wow, so excited! Believe that we will get our license soon... :p

wow! It's almost Friday! Thank God that He sustain me through this week. What a tiring week! Just came back from my Ipoh cum Cameron Highlands trip! It was fun, but not very fufiling trip for me.

I will start back from last Friday. Last Friday was a tremendous day for me! On one hand, I was really excited about my trip to Ipoh (taking the coach ride at 10pm). On the other, I was so busy at work that I can hardly breathe! I rushed through the day, praying that I could get out of my office at 6pm & straight to the "vision rally" at my church. Dora, my boss, gave me work & tasks every other second! I finished this task & there, there was another! Wow, I was so overwhelmed! I managed to finish ALL my tasks to do at 7pm & rushed off on a cab to church!

It was great! Mark Gorman was there to share a simple yet profound message.

"Persevere! So that when you have done the Will of God, you will receive His promise!"

God has given me lots of promises. I must say that this message speaks to me greatly 'cos I realise that at times, I was really doing the promise & not doing His will.

Eg: God promises that when I get into this job at Sonopress, I will get promoted quickly within months. I do not have to worry about the miserable pay now.

However, through the months, I was striving so hard to do my best in my work in order to see myself being promoted. I relied on my own ability & strength.. thinking that "I" deserve to be promoted because of my qualifications, being a hardworking person..etc.

I was DOING the promise! I want to make God's promise come true!!!

That's wrong attitude!

Thank God that through the months, many trials came upon me... through the ups & downs, I thank God that He is moulding me to be a better person. I learned so much through my stay here at sonopress. It was not a easy company to be in, but I survived!

Well, the right attitude should be to do the will of God first!!!
And I will receive the promise!

Hallejulah! I have much joy now at work because I realise that I should not strive anymore. I am working for the Lord. God is good & He will brings justice to me!

"Blessed is the one who waits for the Lord!"

Praise You, Jesus!

Mark Gorman shares:
"No one is born with character. No one is born to be a leader. Our life is a factory whereby experiences go through us & be manufactures into Character."

Wow, thats cool! Trials make us stronger, shapes our values & develops in us character!

I realise that what I want to become is not just a nice gal with many friends. I want to be a gal with character, centered in God's purpose & will for me.

Jesus, thank you for everything that happened in my life. It is all these that make me who I am today. I know that you are not done with me yet & You will continue to mould me into the woman that You want me to be. God, may your grace be upon me as I walk with you. I pray for Your will be done in my life, every aspects... they belongs to You!

To be continue.... ipoh/Camoron Highlands trip!

Li & I on the train home!

GOOD Sunday!!!

Today after my church service, I went off alone.. 'cos I was hanging at Manna bookshop after the core group meeting. Saw one good book, "Praying the will of God in my life". But I didn't want to spend the money, so decided to borrow from library or friends if there is any.

Then it started to rain, thank God it stopped soon. I started to look for someone to have lunch with me... so as usual, I called up every person whom I think won't mind having lunch with me in my hp list. But as usual, whenever I want to find someone to accompany me, I can't find any. They are all are busy with family, friends.... etc. Funny that my friends are always complainting that im too busy for them... hmm....Ya, think God is teaching me to plan events/dates in advance.

Hmm, as usual, I will feel lonely being alone.

Because I was very tired too, I didn't want to go far... so decided to go back to woodlands then, & see if any of my Woodlands friends can meet me up. Hmm... still no one is free...

In the end, on the bus, a sense of lostness came upon me...

Later, I called up my best friend, Li & told her how funny that sometimes I will feel a sense of loneliness in me... as if I'm so alone in this world. (No true lah) Then she said, ya ya.... i feel this way too....
Hmm..... well, haha.... thank God i'm not the only one who thinks so....
& i probably realise that many of us would think the same way sometimes.... even when we have lots of friends around.
So if you, who are reading this feel lonely too sometimes, it's normal! :p

Okay, ha... so i decided to cheer up in the end & do something meaningful. Alright, I will cook for my family today! Hmm, something meaningful ya. :)

Suddenly my spirit lifted up & I went excitedly to cold storage for the ingredients. Love the feeling of shopping for grocery... haha... bought chicken wings, egg & non egg tofu, vege, cabbages, carrots, pork ribs...etc.

I started to cook at 4pm & by the time i finished, it was already 7.15pm!!! wow, so tiring! Hmm, frying the tofu was hard, it doesnt seem to turn golden brown in less than 30min. Thank God everything turned out fine! Wow, i did not have my lunch today... till 7.15pm. but it was all worth it! :p...

This coming week will be an exciting week!

Mon: ktv night with beloved colleagues
Tue: Basic driving theory test!
Wed: Shan & Li' birthday celebration
Thur: Singapore idol & packing of bag for hols.
Friday: Vision Rally & off to Ipoh at 10pm!
Sat & Sun: ipoh & Cameron Highlands!!!

God bless my week & all my friends & family's week too!
Thank you Lord.
